MICROSOFT
TRAIN SIMULATOR
This simulator is
commercial which means it is sold in shops and over the
internet, but nowadays for no more than around £10. The simulator
dates back to 2001 and features both interior and exterior
views. More information about the simulator can be found at
the
official website. MSTS (as it's more commonly known) has
a huge fan base accross the world and the British fan base is
one of the largest. Over time
UKTrainSim has become the central place for the British
community to meet up and it hosts thousands of add-ons.
If you already own MSTS I highly recommend installing the
official update from
here. I also recommend the
unofficial 'Bin' patch which adds new features and
improves performance.
