TRAIN DOWNLOADS

On this page you will find a number of downloadable trains. These routes are by default installed to "C:\Program Files\BVE" so they work with v2 of BVE Trainsim. If you do not use v2 then your computer may be using "C:\Program Files\mackoy\BVE4" as the storage area for your add-ons. If this is the case then you can change the destination folder when you load the installers.

Remember that all routes and trains must be in either one or the other of the previously mentioned destination folders. By default, BVE version 4's loading box will go to the latter, so if you are using the former destination folder then all you need to do is to navigate to it by using the 'up a level' button which is located next to the drop-down box. Once you reach 'Program Files' you should double click on 'BVE' then 'Route' and choose the route and diagram you wish to drive.

Compatible with BVE 2. This older logo denotes that the download is only compatible with Version 2.

A screenshot of the Class 150/1 train. Class 150/1 'Sprinter'
This Class 150 is of the '/1' subclass. These trains are diesel and operate services on London Midland's 'Marston Vale' line and on London Overground's Gospel Oak to Barking route in north London, as well as much of the Northern Rail and London Midland (City) networks. The obvious difference between them and the '/2' subclass is that the '/1's have no end gangways, meaning that when running in multiple you cannot walk between the units.

This is a Class 416 'EPB'. In this case, it is based on a two-car version. These trains are electric multiple units and operated services across London and the South East back in the British Railways era. The originals were built as follow-ons from the 4-SUBs, with designs drawn up in the late 1950s for more EPB units. There were 79 two-car EPBs built between 1954 and 1958 and were primarily used on the South Eastern to form 10 car trains. They were allocated to the 57xx number range and fitted with the earlier 'contactor' equipment used for automatic acceleration, as opposed to the camshaft control fitted to other builds.
