TRAINS ON LOW LOADERS

Here is a selection of trains that I have photographed on low loaders. The images are sorted by the TOPS code of the locomotive or multiple unit illustrated. All of the images so far have been taken on the spur of the moment and not planned.

This was my first ever photograph of a train on a low loader, and was taken en route to a holiday in Newcastle. The location is Woodall Services on the M1. The loco was returning to Edinburgh after receiving collision repairs at Brush Loughborough. Click here for more images - 26th May 2006.

This sighting of a tamper was had when returning home from Watford. I have absolutely no idea where it's journey started, nor where it was heading to. In fact all I can tell you is that it was seen heading anti-clockwise around the M25 between Watford and the junction for the M3 - 19th March 2007.
