RAIL PHOTOGRAPHY

There are many classes of train running in Britain, ranging from mainline locos and multiple units to preserved steam locos and other rolling stock. My aim is to photograph as many examples of different types as possible. My collection of photographs also contains many other railway related items such as stations buildings, trackside signs and depots.

Image Compression

Before any photographs are uploaded they are resized and compressed. The reason for this is that the photographs are very large in terms of both pixel and file size. To get the pictures down to a suitable size for internet use they require compression. This is a process that can make them lose quality. If you would like original copies of any photo then they can be sent to you via e-mail. Just contact me.
