FAKE LIVERIES

Here is a selection of fake liveries that have never actually been applied to trains. Some may be modified versions of existing liveries or totally fictional colour schemes and brand names. The images are sorted by the TOPS code of the locomotive or multiple unit illustrated. This page is based on the Fictitious Liveries website by Owen Hodgson/The AC Locomotive Group.

Class 86 in wacky Anglia Railways livery.
Had Anglia Railways not been taken over by National Express-owned 'one' back on April Fools Day 2004, I wonder if Anglia Railways would have ever spiced up their rather plain turquoise and white stripe livery? Perhaps it's good they didn't!
Class 221 in SWT Virgin Trains livery.
As you probably know, Stagecoach own quite big a chunk of Virgin Trains, so what would a joint SWT and Virgin livery look like on one of their Voyager fleet? This mock-up is quite a rough one, but I think you should get the general idea.
Class 450 in green South West Trains livery.
Following the announcement that one's Desiro fleet was to "go green" by using regenerative braking, I wondered what an actual green livery would look like on an SWT Desiro. They already have white, blue and red variations of their livery!
